Charity & Partnerships
Here at The Lord Crewe, we have a strong dedication to helping the local community, The Lord Crewe seeks to support valuable causes through fundraising activities, donations, sponsorships – and much more. With supporting local charities and sports teams at the heart of everything we do, we are still seeking local causes to help in a variety of ways. If you know of any local causes that could benefit from our support, email info@lord-crewe.co.uk.
Please read more about our current charities below and, if you are able, consider donating to their causes.
Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI)
The RNLI was founded as the Royal National Institution for the Preservation of Lives and Property from Shipwreck in 1824. It changed its name to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in 1854 and has worked tirelessly for almost 200 years to save lives at sea. The RNLI’s research and rescue service help to educate, influence, supervise and rescue those at risk from drowning, and has pioneered developments in lifesaving at sea. Charity boxes for the RNLI can be found throughout The Lord Crewe.
Armstrong House
Armstrong House goes above and beyond to help the local community. It provides supported housing in a family-like environment, homemade meals and a live-in manager for its residents. During The Lord Crewe’s Refurbishment, we donated furniture to the residents of Armstrong House.
South Shields Football Club
The Lord Crewe recently took a box at South Shields Football Club’s stadium as goodwill for our work regenerating the local area.
South Shields Football Club is a football club based in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, that competes in the Northern Premier League.
We are looking to support the club in many ways, including directly investing in its fast-growing Academy and Foundation programme.
We look forward to continuing to work with the Club and wish SSFC every success for the future.
